Our commitments to supporting you:
You or someone close to you has just been admitted to intensive care.
LifeMapp was designed to guide you through every stage of an intensive care stay and provide all the information you need. Conceived as a compass, the app helps you find your bearings and move towards returning to everyday life. Developed by the One O One Endowment Fund, LifeMapp is available free of charge to units that request it.
Dear Sir or Madam, Someone close to you has just been admitted to our Intensive Care and High-Dependency Unit in Épinal. Intensive care is a specialist service for patients who have, or are at risk of developing, failure of one or more organs that may be life-threatening. Patients therefore require constant monitoring, often complex care and sometimes advanced organ-support techniques. A skilled, specialist medical, nursing and allied health team is present around the clock, seven days a week. Decisions about your loved one’s care are made collectively, in consultation with their usual doctors, to ensure that treatment is as appropriate as possible and that support is compassionate. Throughout the stay, we will do our best to be available to answer your questions and provide information that is honest, clear and appropriate to the situation you are facing. The unit is open and accessible around the clock, so please speak to us during your visits or contact us by telephone.
