You or someone close to you has just been admitted to intensive care.
LifeMapp is designed to guide you through every stage of an intensive care stay and provide the information you need. Like a compass, it helps you find your bearings and move towards everyday life again. Developed by the One O One Endowment Fund, LifeMapp is available free of charge to units that request it.
With modern, efficient facilities, the critical care department is divided into two units: intensive care and intermediate care. Intensive care treats patients with severe failure of one or more vital functions, such as the heart, brain or lungs, as well as patients at risk of developing serious complications.Intermediate care is for patients who generally require fewer invasive procedures or less complex equipment but still need close monitoring.Each room is private and has glass panels, allowing the care team to observe patients directly.
