General Intensive Care and General High-Dependency Care

Oise Ouest Vexin Territorial Hospital Group – Simone Veil

Our commitments to supporting you:

You or someone close to you has just been admitted to intensive care.

LifeMapp is designed to guide you through every stage of an intensive care stay and provide the information you need. Like a compass, it helps you find your bearings and move towards everyday life again. Developed by the One O One Endowment Fund, LifeMapp is available free of charge to units that request it.

Welcome

Dear Sir or Madam, Your loved one is being cared for in the general intensive care and critical care unit at Beauvais Hospital Centre.

Visits are possible 24 hours a day, and the teams are available to you throughout the hospital stay. To support you through what is often a very difficult time, we use LifeMapp Diary. This ICU diary enables your loved one to read messages and learn about events that occurred during their hospital stay but that they may not remember. These details can be extremely valuable during recovery, helping them move forward and fill in periods of lost memory that can otherwise be distressing. The diary remains available throughout their stay in the unit and after discharge.

Please speak to us about any personal, family or social concerns arising from this experience. We will do our best to help or refer you to the appropriate professional when necessary.
