Émile Muller Hospital – Mulhouse and South Alsace Regional Hospital Group
Our commitments to supporting you:
You or someone close to you has just been admitted to intensive care.
LifeMapp is designed to guide you through every stage of an intensive care stay and provide the information you need. Like a compass, it helps you find your bearings and move towards everyday life again. Developed by the One O One Endowment Fund, LifeMapp is available free of charge to units that request it.
Our medical intensive care unit, where you or your loved one is being cared for, has 20 beds. It treats patients with serious acute conditions that may be life-threatening because one or more organs are failing. Our medical, nursing and allied health teams work around the clock, 7 days a week, to provide close monitoring and complex treatments and organ-support techniques. We are committed to supporting both you and your loved one through this difficult time, providing all the information you need and answering your questions clearly and honestly.

Because visiting is unrestricted, visits may occasionally be interrupted by tests or treatment that your loved one needs, often at short notice. We will do everything possible to anticipate these situations and coordinate with you, but we appreciate your understanding if an unexpected wait is necessary.
Children are welcome to visit, but visits need to be carefully planned. Please speak to the unit team to arrange one.
The times shown are for guidance only. They may vary depending on activity in the unit and emergencies, or be adjusted to better accommodate your needs.
