Intensive Care Medicine

Dieppe Hospital Centre – GHT Caux Maritime

Our commitments to supporting you:

You or someone close to you has just been admitted to intensive care.

LifeMapp was designed to guide you through every stage of an intensive care stay and provide all the information you need. Conceived as a compass, the app helps you find your bearings and move towards returning to everyday life. Developed by the One O One Endowment Fund, LifeMapp is available free of charge to units that request it.

Welcome

Welcome to the Intensive Care Medicine unit at Dieppe Hospital Centre. Our department has 10 intensive care beds and 5 General High-Dependency Unit (USIP) beds, caring for patients whose condition is life-threatening or may become life-threatening.

Our medical, nursing, allied health and administrative teams are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to provide the best possible care, both technically and compassionately.

We know that having a loved one in intensive care is a difficult time that can bring worry and many questions. We therefore make every effort to be available and to provide you with information about your loved one’s condition, the treatments being given and medical decisions. Families can visit every day. The entire team works to ensure the comfort of patients and their loved ones while providing the best possible care.

Please do not hesitate to speak to the team if you have any questions or would like to talk: we are here to support you.

Our unit takes part in research groups working to improve care for intensive care patients.
