Bourg-en-Bresse Hospital Centre
Our commitments to supporting you:
You or someone close to you has just been admitted to intensive care.
LifeMapp is designed to guide you through every stage of an intensive care stay and provide the information you need. Like a compass, it helps you find your bearings and move towards everyday life again. Developed by the One O One Endowment Fund, LifeMapp is available free of charge to units that request it.
Someone close to you is currently being cared for in our unit. It has 12 intensive care beds and seven high-dependency beds for patients who no longer have life-threatening organ failure but remain too vulnerable to move to a standard hospital ward. The rooms are equipped to monitor and treat life-threatening emergencies and respiratory, cardiovascular or kidney failure. The same medical, nursing and allied health teams work across both units. They are present around the clock to provide treatment tailored to each patient’s condition. The nursing team includes nurses and healthcare assistants led by a nurse manager.Visits are reserved for family members and close friends, are possible 24 hours a day, and are limited to eight people at a time.
