Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit

Guadeloupe University Hospital

Our commitments to supporting you:

You or someone close to you has just been admitted to intensive care.

LifeMapp is designed to guide you through every stage of an intensive care stay and provide the information you need. Like a compass, it helps you find your bearings and move towards everyday life again. Developed by the One O One Endowment Fund, LifeMapp is available free of charge to units that request it.

Welcome

Welcome to the Intensive Care Unit at Guadeloupe University Hospital, the referral unit for residents of Guadeloupe and the surrounding islands.

Our multidisciplinary team includes nurses, healthcare assistants, doctors, a psychologist, administrative staff, logistics staff, rehabilitation professionals, hospital support staff and a social worker. Everyone works together to care for patients who require intensive treatment. We understand that a stay in intensive care is a difficult experience for every patient and family, and we therefore do everything possible to answer your questions and keep you informed about changes in your loved one’s health.
