Dracénie Hospital Centre – Draguignan

Our commitments to supporting you:

You or someone close to you has just been admitted to intensive care.

LifeMapp is designed to guide you through every stage of an intensive care stay and provide the information you need. Like a compass, it helps you find your bearings and move towards everyday life again. Developed by the One O One Endowment Fund, LifeMapp is available free of charge to units that request it.

Welcome

Welcome to our intensive care unit. Every day, our team does everything possible to provide the best care for patients facing critical illness. Our professionals include nurses, doctors, physiotherapists and speech and language therapists, who work closely together to provide personalised, high-quality care.

Intensive care is a demanding environment where every action and decision can have a major impact. We therefore strive to be both responsive and compassionate, combining technical expertise with careful attention to the needs of patients and those close to them. We believe that clear communication within the team and with families is essential to building trust and supporting recovery.

Thank you for allowing us to support you through this experience and for playing an active part in the quality of care we provide. Together, we face the challenges of intensive care with professionalism and compassion.

Our unit takes part in research projects. Medical, nursing and allied health research helps improve care practices and the quality of treatment patients receive. Please speak to the team if you would like information about taking part in a research project.

Our unit takes part in research groups working to improve care for intensive care patients.
