You or someone close to you has just been admitted to intensive care.
LifeMapp is designed to guide you through every stage of an intensive care stay and provide the information you need. Like a compass, it helps you find your bearings and move towards everyday life again. Developed by the One O One Endowment Fund, LifeMapp is available free of charge to units that request it.
Dear Sir or Madam,Your loved one is being cared for in the Intensive Care Medicine Department. The department comprises: five intensive care units (A, B, C, D and E); two high-dependency units (F and G); one medical admissions and resuscitation unit (UADM); one toxicology unit; and one hyperbaric oxygen therapy unit.The teams are here to listen and support you throughout your loved one’s hospital stay. Visits are possible 24/7, although some times are more suitable because of the way care is organised.To help you remain connected, we use the LifeMapp Diary. This tool enables your loved one to read messages, personal accounts and information about events that occurred during their hospital stay.
