Intensive Care Medicine Unit

Jacques Cartier Private Hospital

Our commitments to supporting you:

You or someone close to you has just been admitted to intensive care.

LifeMapp is designed to guide you through every stage of an intensive care stay and provide the information you need. Like a compass, it helps you find your bearings and move towards everyday life again. Developed by the One O One Endowment Fund, LifeMapp is available free of charge to units that request it.

Welcome

Dear Sir or Madam,
x
The Intensive Care Medicine department includes an intensive care section and a high-dependency section.
x
Our role is to care for patients with acute conditions causing failure of one or more organs and who may require specialist organ-support treatments.
A welcome booklet is available to help explain how the department works.
x
We remain available to provide the clearest and most honest possible information about your loved one’s condition.
