The intensive care unit is open 24 hours a day, so you may visit your loved one whenever you wish. However, their treatment must not be interrupted, and we may therefore ask you to wait while a procedure or examination is completed before entering the room.

Please also note that the medical and care teams cannot provide updates at all times of day and night. To make communication easier, a main family contact should be appointed, such as the designated trusted person, a relative or a friend. This person will be the intensive care team’s primary point of contact.

Visits by children should be discussed with the medical team in advance.
