Lille University Hospital – Huriez Hospital
Our commitments to supporting you:
You or someone close to you has just been admitted to intensive care.
LifeMapp is designed to guide you through every stage of an intensive care stay and provide the information you need. Like a compass, it helps you find your bearings and move towards everyday life again. Developed by the One O One Endowment Fund, LifeMapp is available free of charge to units that request it.
A stay in intensive care can be deeply disruptive for patients and those close to them, creating a loss of bearings because of the seriousness of the situation and the intensity of treatment.Patients are often sedated and may not be fully conscious during their stay, causing them to forget important moments. To provide a record and restore some points of reference, we offer this online ICU diary. It allows healthcare professionals, family members and friends to record daily medical and personal events, creating an account of the stay for the patient to read. Our medical and care teams remain available to support you.
