LifeMapp is designed to guide you through every stage of an intensive care stay and provide the information you need. Like a compass, it helps you find your bearings and move towards everyday life again. Developed by the One O One Endowment Fund, LifeMapp is available free of charge to units that request it.
We mainly care for patients following cardiac, vascular or thoracic surgery.During their stay, patients require particularly close attention, advanced medical equipment and continuous monitoring by medical, nursing and allied health teams available around the clock.The Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgical Intensive Care Unit is located in the Heart and Lung Institute. It comprises the following units: SIPO 2: rooms 19 to 24SIPO 3: rooms 25 to 30ICU A: rooms 31 to 40ICU B: rooms 41 to 50 Visits are permitted from the day after surgery, with a maximum of two visitors at a time. To protect patients who are particularly vulnerable during their stay in intensive care, visitors must wear a mask.
